I’m greatly indebted to the many talented WordPress plugin authors out there. Here are the plugins I’m currently using:

AbsoluteRSS 1.0 Robert Accettura Adjusts your links in RSS to use absolute links so that they work correctly in all feed readers (and validate). GPL Licensed. (Tweaked by Tom to work with blogs in a subdirectory.)
Adsense Injection 1.0 Dax “The Hammer” Herrera Inserts Adsense into your blog without a lot of hassle. Tweaked by Tom (underscorebleach.net) to add sizes, insert ads only for non-registered users, track channels per size, and place ads only on single posts.
Akismet 2.1.4 Matt Mullenweg Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.” To show off your Akismet stats just put <?php akismet_counter(); ?> in your template. See also: WP Stats plugin.

Filosofo Old-Style Upload 0.5 Austin Matzko Filosofo Old-Style Upload restores for WordPress 2.0+ the Upload feature found in earlier versions.
Flexible upload 1.9 Antoine Choppin Resize picture at upload and make thumbnail creation configurable (like WP1.5), optionally include a watermark to your uploaded images.
Google Ad Wrap 1.0 John Godley Simple plugin to wrap a google_ad_section tag around comments and content
Google XML Sitemaps 3.0 Arne Brachhold This plugin will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO. Configuration Page
HTML Tag Enabler 1.0 Ashwini Kumar Rath Enable HTML code writing with [html]…[/html] within the post content
Less 1.0 Bennett McElwee Change the (more…) link so it displays the entire post, not just the part after the “more”.
No Ping Wait 2.0 Robert Deaton Speeds up posting by moving generic pings to execute-pings.php
Official Comments 1.1 Brett Taylor Adds functions to distinguish authorised WP user’s comments.

Paged Comments 2 (2006-04-07) Keyvan Minoukadeh Breaks down comments into a number of pages. Tweaked by Tom (underscorebleach.net) to point comment permalinks at the “all-comments” page.
Post Upload and Paste for Wordpress 2 1.0 Ruben Miranda Adds quicktag, popup window, and “add to post” link for quick uploads during posting.
Related Posts 2.02 Alexander Malov & Mike Lu Returns a list of the related entries based on active/passive keyword matches.

Ultimate Google Analytics 1.4 Wilfred van der Deijl Enable Google Analytics on your blog. Has options to also track external links, mailto links and links to downloads on your own site. Check http://www.oratransplant.nl/uga/#versions for version updates
Viper’s Plugins Used 1.12 Viper007Bond Allows you to display alphabetically what plugins you have enabled on your blog in either a table or unordered list. Also allows you to set custom descriptions for the plugins in the output.

Whisper 1.0 sehh (and a little sesstreets) Replaces comments that contain more than 50% capital letters with lower-case versions (English characters only). Modified by Tom (underscorebleach.net) to apply only to non-registered users and require a comment of reasonably length.
WordPress Database Backup 1.7 Scott Merrill On-demand backup of your WordPress database.
runPHP 2.1b James Van Lommel Allows you to put PHP code into a post and have it eval()’d.
wp-cache 2.0.17 Ricardo Galli Granada Very fast cache module. It’s composed of several modules, this plugin can configure and manage the whole system. Once enabled, go to “Options” and select “WP-Cache”.
