I got rim
I have important news to relay tonight. I got rim. I touched rim. I jumped up and touched a rim 10′ off the ground, a rim which I have no reason to believe is less than 10′ off the ground.
Who cares, right? Lots of people can touch the rim. Well, not me, until now. Not in 24 years of my life have I ever done it. I was at the playground shooting hoops by myself and tried on a whim. It was actually fairly easy.
In another important development, I marinated a piece of chicken for the first time. I then proceeded to grill it on my almost-never-used George Foreman grill, and the result was—quite tasty! If you ask me, this is a pretty big milestone, especially given my penchant for Hot Pockets.
On both counts, I think congratulations are in order.

How tall are you? Perhaps I should go to a basketball court soon and see if I can do the same with my 5′9″ self.
Congratulations on all the accomplishments, though. Not often that people get to do that. Sadly enough, it’s true for most.

Oh yeah, that would be a good piece of information, wouldn’t it? I’m just under 6′.. like 5′ 11 3/4″

Basketball ist nicht mein sport. However, I touched rim at about 14 years old. Sucker.
Congrats on the chicken marinating, but I award you no points for cooking it on a friggin George Foreman. Are you not allowed to have a regular gas or charcoal grill on your porch?

The George Foreman grill is lean, mean, fat reducing, and easy to clean, though! Once you put the right seasonings on the meat you’ll have yourself a wonderful main course.
Besides, outside grilling should be reserved for get togethers and parties, at least in my opinion.

Grilling (on a real grill) is an any-day type of thing for me. In fact, I’m going to fire mine up right now!

Evan, I could grill in the back “yard” (it’s really not much of a yard at this apt building), but I don’t the necessary BBQ tools to do it, plus I’d have to borrow someone’s grill.

BTW, Evan, how tall are you?
