The key to managing seasonal allergies is to nip it in the bud... If you feel like an attack is coming, take a claritin or benadryl or whatever and hop in a hot shower. Give your sinus membranes some time to relax. I find if I try to simply fight through those tingles it ends up being a lot worse -- often ending in a sinus infection or just a prolonged bout with the allergies. I had them incredibly bad at your age, but I have basically outgrown them now, and have virtually no problems anymore at age 53. Guess my body finally became immune to the stuff. I found that the "non-drowsy" formulas did not work at all for me, like claritin. Get the kind with pseudophedrine [sudaphed] (now, behind the counter). They actually work!
