In case you missed Tom Cruise on Oprah…

I don’t see why you all should be so critical of Tom Cruise. And if he is bipolar, all the better. He seems to be in a state of bliss, so let him be. He is right to be weary of psychiatry and the dispension of drugs. I have heard a fair share of stories on teachers who advise parents to put children on ritalin because they act up in class. I have friends who have been put on medications for ADHD when young and were not conscious of the emotional harm it was doing to them years later after they had gone a sufficient degree of maturation to realize said problem. Doctors prescribe these types of medications to children like candy and they do have serious consequences. Am I disproving of the entire field of clinical psychology? No, I’m not. Nor am I a practicing scientologist. I am, however, bipolar and have suffered some of the consequences of psychiatric medications. I also have been aided by others. There are positive and negative outcomes of such medications and bipolarity can be a blessing. Cruise’s message, which has been vastly overlooked by a superficial and reactionary audience is to challenge the public on their conceptions of what is a right and a wrong way to think. Although I am not entirely against psychiatry, like I said before, it is a form of mind control. Although necessary, at times, to adhere to a life that is conducive with the structure of society– real progress will only come when we can challenge our own notions of why for instance the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) has added 300+ entries over the past thirty years. Is this progress?

We live in an amazing country that lets us worship any god, or belief we want. Most of you sit here & try to take that away, because its something you dont like. You just dont like scientology so no one can benefit from something that you think is pointless or stupid. & whats funny about that, is I guess you have a right to complain, too.

Tom Cruise is son of a bitch. No he is bitch himself. And the fact that he belongs to male species , makes it a kind of paradox. This paradox will engulf Scientology and their Wanker God Xenu ( who is a unshaven cunt by the way ) and then deliver another Tom cruise and army of fucking idiot Scientologists in next 1000 years. By that time we will perfect our Mass Exterminator machines. Fucking Scientology Idiots. Listen punk ass bitches , I have founded a religion : People who hate shit. And we sound much better than your dope ass name. Fuck You.

This Tom Cruise character is nothing but a face. I don’t like him as an actor, and I could care less about his personal life and views on religion and scientology. I’m baffled how people can’t see through his big facade. I think he’s more in love with himself then any of his biggest fans are. I really believe that guy has completely lost touch with reality, and believes everyone thinks he’s such a wonderful guy.

Before people go off and make fun of Tom Cruise for standing up for what he believes in maybe someone could make fun of or question the mental health profession that has a 11 to 17% rate of sexual contact between practitioner and client (80% do so with more than one client), not to mention the financial and psychological abuse that goes on. Maybe society should insist the mental health field clean up their act, instead of making fun of the people that point this exploitation out to us.

Amanda…..
I think it’s wonderful you know the acronym for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
DSM IV - Look up the numerous disorders you are probably diagnosed with. It really sounds like you have issues.

To the creator of this blog site….the term “retarded” is no longer acceptable in our civil culture. You may wish to choose another explecitive.

Well, I don’t exactly know what part of the site you’re referring to, D Alan, but I can assure that I am very sensitive and would never want to offend anyone.

Tom Cruise is a fucking nutball. Anyone who says he wants to eat the placenta of his newborn Reptillian ScientologyRobot Spawn has clearly lost his mind.
I hope he keeps up his antics. It’s fun to watch this train wreck.

There are 2 types of depression:
1)Something bad happens to you, you become depressed…
And in that case nothing is needed.
2)Clynical depression: Your brain synapsis don’t comunicate with each other anymore. And in that case YOU need to take something.
..
AM AGAINST GIVING KIDS ANY TYPE OF DRUG…
BUT AM AGAINST SCIENTOLY 110%…
