Political lull
So I thought I’d try to catch up with the political blogs, just to see if anything truly scandalous was going on. Over the past couple of weeks, it seems the most the politicos can find to get excited about is:
- Dr. Dean calling the Republicans a party of “white Christians.” (As if we didn’t know Howard nevers looks before he leaps?)
- Senate Democrats having a cryfest about John Bolton. (He was vewwy, vewwy mean to his direct reports.)
- The continent of Europe in the toilet over the EU budget. (I’d venture it doesn’t take much to set Tony Blair and Jacques Chirac into an continental pissing match.)
Seriously, that’s the best you can do? I’m yawning here. Where’s Elian Gonzalez when ya need him?!
