i don’t like to judge people based on stereotypes (that girl wearing big sunglasses was a bitch, therefore all girls wearing big sunglasses are bitches, etc…) but let me tell ya, i would never wear sunglasses that freaking big for many reasons; the biggest ones being that they make you look more ridiculous and attention-seeking than anything else, and that they’re just plain annoying. like myspace pose annoying. frustratingly annoying. why do so many girls like those?

I hate those big sunglasses, too. They make people look like aliens or gold-diggers. I don’t understand why they’re so fashionable, but I do know this, you can use them as a fair enough disguise.

How come all you people supporting big sunglasses are saying you don’t think they’re hot or the greatest things in the world, they’re just convenient. If you really thought that way why would you Google “big sunglasses” and end up at this page telling your story. Hi, I wear big shades, the bigger the better as they are so hot at the moment. I have Dior , Dolce and Gabbana and Versace among others and they just look really great on me and make me feel good. They`re ideal if you have a hangover or just dont have time for the whole eye makeup thing, you can just scoot around the mall.All my girlfriends wear them and the guys say they`re pretty cool too.If you dont like them dont wear them but judging by the number of people you see around town they are pretty fashionable.

well i’ve never known anyone get so fucked off at how people dress, i think men who wear pink are either gay or regular homosexual thoughts but i dont want to kick every man i see wearing pink. it seems big sunglasses are like anal sex, you either love them, hate them or are scared to try them. in my personal opinion i think girls in a big pair of stylish sunglasses are hot but then i can see why it gets on peoples tits aswel in the way you dont know whats under them but to me thats also a turn on for me.

Alright I absolutely agree those sunglasses make them look like martians. Some ppl are starting to piss me off saying they have a good “fashion sense” cause they wear Jimmy Choo leg warmers that cost 1000$ and look like Walmart legwarmers you get for 5$. Over sized glasses are ugly, period. It doesn’t matter whether they’re dior, D&G, armani, fendi, gucci, doesn’t matter how expensive they are (usually the more expensive the more “unique” AKA more ugly they look), seriously its a waste of money just to hide your face and give stupid people an excuse to feel “fashionable” while wearing over priced designer shoes that don’t match their clothes. But whatever thats just my two cents, its a free country, but seeing people in all these different over-the-boat “chic accessories” makes me kinda wanna run up and smack them in the face. (yes i wear designer labels too but i dont wear overly rediculous ones)

I like big sunglasses, for the most part. Minus the ones that make me look like a bug/alien. But it’s not like I wear them just because. I wear them so I don’t have to wince in the sun or look down at the ground while I walk. I like to look forward and look confident. It just happens to be that I have light colored eyes that are sensitive to the sun and the glasses I think are cute in the stores are on the larger side. (Either way, who wants to wear those tiny framed librarian style shades anyway? Personally, I don’t think they work very well.. you know.. shading my eyes from the sun!)

meh…to each their own, I say. However, everytime I see a girl in those honkin’ huge sunglasses, I see the shades that old people with cataracts wear.

Every decade has its fashion faux-pas; it takes a few years to look back and realize how awful what we wore really looked. I suspect it will be the same for the big glasses. They’re THE thing now, but they too shall pass and the girls and boys will be latched on to the next big thing and making fun of anyone still wearing anything as so ‘yesterday’ as big sunglasses.
