Matthew Hale exacts his revenge from a jail cell
Matthew Hale has exacted his revenge on the judge who held him in contempt of court. Judge Joan Lefkow returned to her home tonight to find the bloody bodies of her husband mother. Hale is to be sentenced April 6th for soliciting another follower of his World Church of the Creator to kill the judge. It seems they instead targeted her husband and mother.
In 1999 and 2000, Hale made it his mission in distribute racist literature at my alma mater, Northwestern, and in the surrounding community. Later, he visited the campus, and I stood a few feet from the man. I watched his goons prowl the sidewalks. His visit brought out the crazies, that was for sure: the “scuffle” referred to in media accounts of Hale’s visit was between his bodyguards and the crazy communists who came out of the woodwork.
At the time, I was amused by the scene. It was more of a media circus than anything and Matt Hale was flypaper for fellow crazies. The Northwestern kids went bonkers with apocalyptic forecasting once Hale came around. Given the objective reality of the situation, there wasn’t a lot to go crazy about. Observe my old friend Nate Cemenska lampooning the hand-wringing on campus. Yet it seems I ultimately underestimated the dangerousness of Hale. Since Ricky Byrdsong died at the hands of a Hale follower, perhaps I should have taken everything seriously from the start.

UPDATE 3/8/05: After thinking about this entry a bit more, I think its premise is probably unfair. As of now, no concrete evidence has been found to link Matt Hale or his organization to the murders of Michael Lefkow and Donna Humphrey. Our consitution guarantees due process and the presumption of innocence, and we must therefore presume Hale innocent of involvement. Yet it would indeed be a startling coincidence for a man convicted of soliciting a judge’s murder to be in no way connected with the murders of that very judge’s husband and mother. The probability is a bit farfetched. So while we cannot deem him guilty of these crimes at this point, not beyond a shadow of a doubt, the suspicion is strong.
Of course, the most likely scenario here is that those sympathetic to his cause carried out the act he originally intended, not that he directly coordinated the murders. Then it would be Hale’s influence and ideas, not his specific design, that led to deaths of two innocent individuals.
IMPORTANT UPDATE 3/10/05: The presumption of guilt for Hale (or his followers) in this case was wrong. The murders have instead been linked to Bart Ross, a man whose medical malpractice lawsuit Judge Lefkow dismissed. The Chicago Tribune has more details.

why are you automatically linking Hale to the killings when not even the police are prepared to make such accusations? that doesn’t make sense to me. i’m certainly not a hale fan…just a fan of accuracy.

The statement hale’s mother made about the Jdl possiabley having a Involvement in his intrapment and inpisonment by federal pig dogs is not so off center. The JDL is also a extreamist group who promotes global zionism another form of racism and global oppresstion Jdl is also know to act violantly as well.As for the feds our socialist marxist government does want to take down people like hale cause even though hes a moron he does speak some truths

The media should stop painting a picture of the man as guilty and indoctronating the masses WITH BS.especially when there is no evidenace that connects him to the murders. If in the future it’s discovered that these murders where commited by blacks or latrinos in a botched robbery or some nut other then hale she sentanced seeking revenged it will no loger be news and we will hear no more about it

I don’t know about this stuff, but I will say that at Hale’s appearance at Northwestern, the JDL was there. The JDO was too (they’re nuts), along with the communists, the cops, the media, the feds (I assume!), and Hale’s white supremacist buddies.

weather you argree with hale’s politics or disagree he is still a political prisoner due to the fact that he is bassically in prison because of his political stance.It’s scarry how the government tries to shut people up who don,t comply with there speach codes and their list of aproved agendas.they keep tabs on people like that and oversansationalize their small groups American is become like something out of that book 1984

Hard to dispute truths listed at the rahowa.com Q and A example. You dudes need to take hostages to free Hale he speaks alot of hard to hear facts. I would become a creator however my wicked HATEFUL wrath would only hurt the image further so good luck with that…
