This game is still kiling me. Why the hell would they shoot a three point shot, let alone with Hassan Adams when you have a 50% clutch shooter in Stoudamire. The should have gone inside to Frye. ooooo the anguish

I know it’s been a year, but thanks for having at least some of the video here. Its the only one I could find without having to join the illini bittorrent.

What an amazing game that was. I just cried after watching that. Seeing Bruce Weber’s face after the game ends . . . damn. You know, his mom died like three weeks before that game.

Before March of 2005 I could not have cared less about Illinois. But now, now that I have them winning my bracket and if they win, I win the money and the fact that their main color is orange (which means I can blur my eyes and pretend I’m cheering for Clemson) and the fact that Carl Spangler is a fan too. I’m on the bandwagon.

That’s fair. People who are angry and want to project tend to gravitate to the message boards—it happens in the case of Illinois losses too, of course. I’m sure that the dominant emotion in the UA camp is sadness, frustration, and disappointment. (At least that’s how I’d be feeling.)

Nice entry… but most Arizona fans are not blaming the refs. As a basic rule, I and many others blame Arizona for letting their guard down for those 4 minutes in the second half, and Hassan for holding the ball for so long in OT.
