Sirius on DISH Network

I’m digging Sirius on DISH Network. I normally listen to Internet radio, but Sirius through my satellite receiver is better because:

  1. It always comes in crystal clear. Connection problems don’t happen.
  2. That crystal clear audio is better quality than even the best (128k) Internet radio stations.
  3. I can control the volume of the stereo with my universal remote and quickly mute the sound.
  4. The artist, title, and album are always clearly stated. (Some Internet radio stations screw this up.)
  5. It’s simple to hook my DISH receiver up to my preamp, and it would be a pain to run a cord across the room from my computer’s sound card to my preamp. Besides, the computer’s sound card is crappy.

More info about Sirius on DISH is available, including the full channel lineup.
