Ticket scalping
I came across an article of unusual quality in the November 19th edition of the Daily Northwestern: “Ticket to Success,” by Teddy Kiper. It’s a well-researched feature on ticket scalping at Big Ten football games, with particular emphasis on the ticket scalpers themselves. Kiper also mentions the arguments about scalping’s effects on the price of tickets, which I find pretty fascinating.
Give it a look. It’s the best article I’ve seen in six years of reading the Daily.
