well, i am feeling better. more in place, more set, more content. i wrote something for the second time in three days, and that’s a good start. i need to write more. i also need to read more, so i’m happy i’m in this 20th Century Russian Lit course. reading gets my mind focused on what to say and how to say it.
how i’ve been feeling: two sides
my schedule is finally set. i can’t say i’m entirely happy with it, but like i said, i’m content. Psych, anthro (Third World Urbanization), and Russian Lit is on the menu. i’m gonna P/N Psych just hope it’s not a waste of my time.
working on building the Human Resources site is continually educating me about the amazing inefficiency of large organizations. even our small office is inefficient. it just irks the shit out of me, too, because i’m practically hard-wired for efficiency. anyway, yeah, if you ever need proof that Republican economic principles are superior to liberal ones, try getting something done in a big organization — particularly one with myriad regulations and conflicting personalities that also lacks a clear decision-making hierarchy, like academia.
