  • enter library, search for book on Internet, commit call number to memory (faster than writing it down)
  • go to elevator, find floor where book is, take elevator to 3N
  • walk to middle of 3N, find shelf, locate book, exit tower
  • take out book via self-checkout (faster than checking out book at front desk)
  • take stairs down to first floor (faster than elevator), exit by giving book to attendant with slip showing (efficient)
