home sweet home
mmm. good time, warm house, good food, full belly. home is relaxing, easy, natural.
i’m in C-U for the weekend with anna marie. it’s good. i probably should’ve come home sooner, but i’m just glad to be here. i guess this always happens; i remember how nice it was to come home during senior year of high school and previous years of college, even if i was enjoying my time away. it gives me an opportunity to reset, recharge, and get my energy back in balance.
so yeah, what the hell am i gonna do after school, anyway? hey, your guess is as good as mine. one thing i’m currently investigating is fellowships and the opportunity to study abroad after graduation. NU happens to have an excellent Office of Fellowships, and the director and i have a certain rapport, so right now i’m looking into what’s out there. i’m thinking Great Britain/Germany would be good times, but i’m not sure what i want to study (kind of a problem, huh). in addition to that, i need to start seeing what Undergraduate Career Services has available. oh bleh, i hate diving into new systems, new searches, new situations… i just like things to be familiar and efficient.
plans for tomorrow: Curtis Orchards, good beer, hot tub, dinner, a C-U bar (?), and perhaps a taste of that Russian Lit take-home midterm
