DSL!
yeah, i don’t know why it takes them 2 weeks to flip a switch and give us DSL, but i have to say, the installation of the DSL modem and the D-Link router was smooth as silk — nothing like that Linksys piece of shit i wrassled with for hours at Emma/Ryan/Tempe/jephreeeeee’s place.
done with RovCon training. i know all the troubleshooting stuff the others do, but i’ve got an additional degree in Pimpology. i think that sums it up nicely.
i’m working at Web Comm with Adam on an interesting implementation of Cascading Style Sheets. it’s extremely efficient; by using classes and IDs appropriately (i.e. classes for properties common to multiple elements, and IDs for properties unique to an element), and by using CSS inheritance from parent IDs, you can set up a slick stylesheet and HTML skeleton and be able to do complicated CSS with simple HTML. technical mumbo jumbo, i know, but maybe i’ll explain more fully (and coherently) some time later…
and tomorrow come the hordes of Ethernet-clueless freshmen. yum!
