*sigh*. well i guess i can’t complain too much. Illinois’s football team took care of a tough OSU team, and the basketball team thumped Gonzaga last night.

started tweaking the look a bit tonight. shortened up the left menu and brought the left menu and content area up so as to bring the area-specific menu (located below the left menu) above the fold. before this, if you were seeing the site on a low-res monitor, it was possible to miss this lateral navigation.
i’ve also decided to start archiving the site with simple screenshots. then i can look back and see what i used to have. i wish i had started this sooner, but oh well.
