i’ve been a bit lax in updating the site. time to make amends.
my ma, sis, niece, and nephew came up for the day to see my apartment on saturday. they seemed to like it. we got lunch at Olive Mountain, then they left for Devon St. while i watched Illinois come from behind to beat the Nittany Lions (!!!). then we went to Old Orchard to get something for dinner, where i proceeded to get in a fight with my mom. yeah, less than two hours of proximity with one another, and we’re at each other’s throats. well, it was my fault, basically.
in “social” news (i use the term lightly), Ben Cherry and i are writing a new book: How to Find Shitty Parties at Northwestern University. we’re finished with the research; now we just have to write up our methods. but trust us, it’s foolproof.
yeah, so it was basically two bunk-ass theater fundraiser parties, with a pointless walk to north campus with Adam and some cocky-ass freshman fuck named “Fred” (ha) sandwiched in between. i should have punched that kid in the mouth.
and three cheers for dry fraternities!
bah, but anyway, i’ve got lots of homework to do. as i mentioned before, i actually wrote up a schedule for myself. i find that rather funny. but if you knew how pathetic i’ve been in my studies lately, you’d know it’s necessary. the big task for today: crank out a paper for my worthless Culture and Society class. yippee.
