well well.
today has been sort of wasted. i was under the impression that i had to stay at home all day to wait for Ameritech to come and set up my phone line, but when they hadn’t come by 4:30, i started to wonder. i called them from a pay phone, and the lady informed me that i hadn’t needed to wait at home all day because they were going to set up my new number remotely. hrmm.
i am in chapin. again. i am a little surprised that i’m here so much; maybe it’s because it’s familiar. makes me feel a little pathetic, though, to tell you the truth.
and yes, the only food in my apt at the moment is half a bottle of Sierra Mist, 3 cans of Campbell’s chunky soup, and some granola bars.
i went to radioshack today and got a phone jack splitter. they didn’t have a passive preamp or a ps/2 splitter. i then went to the audio store down the street and inquired about what to do with my preamp. he suggested i search the web for information about replacement parts. so i did, and i found this guy named Dusty who services Audio Alchemy components (and evidently has a small company of his own that manufactures parts to work with old AA stuff). i emailed him about it. we’ll see.

my page looks absolutely horrible in NS 4.7. i don’t really get it. is it because i can’t code properly or because NS 4.7 can’t handle CSS properly? please tell me.
