hi. i would like to point you in the direction of a couple of very good bands.
— whiskeytown: excellent, morose, midwest rock.
— cracker: surly, funny, midwest rock.
— jolene: soulful, real, midwest rock (but they’re from NC :D ).
i like midwest rock.

i went on an 11.5 mile canoe trip today at sugar valley (in indiana, close to turkey run). i went with dad and some people from his work (dan, malinda, mark, brad, christy, and gina [christy's sister] and jamie). some of them rode in canoes, but i was in a dagger kayak called the delta.
wow, look at all those cute links in the above paragraph! anyway, the trip was ok. the water on sugar creek was very low and we had to get out frequently and pull the kayaks across shallow areas. also, there were a ton of people canoeing, so it got congested at times. it was ok, but not unbelievable. but it was nice to get outside and be in nature a little bit. i should do things like that more.
