fun night. hanging out with a few cats… you know that’s what i like best. me, bronson, ryan, portia, dhyatt, joe son, cam, janina, emily, and dk… good group. some good rounds of Mafia… good game.

tweaking the TFL2001 CDROM. it fuxxed up on lindy’s computer, argh. that’s no good! heh heh. i’ll fix it.
oh yeah, my boy anders l. is here for the weekend. word up. haven’t seen that cat in a good while. anders is the kind of dude who’s just great to chill with. i wish i lived nearer to him.
oh well, enough of dis sheeit. pretty mundane entries. watch for life-changing epiphanies… should be arriving next week or so. :D

another day in BA. hung out with laura d. and anders h. last night. pretty good time. jus chillllllll.
gotta find something to do for this next week and a half. i can’t stand to be idle. not even for a few days.

hmm… i don’t really miss NU. i guess that means it’s a good thing that i’m going to the UI this semsester, eh?
i’m hoping to take some good pics and get ‘em up on here soon. should be doing that every week :-/

2:26am at the Tennis household. i’m tired. just got a nice e-mail from my Unc Steve. i feel like i haven’t talked to him in so long. he’s really one of the more sane people in my family.
worked a long time today. prolly 10 hours or more. all computer stuff. computer work doesn’t give you nearly the sense of satisfaction that, say, yard work does. you can come in from the heat, all sweaty and grimy, and pop open a cold one and turn on the game. now that is a sense of accomplishment. with computers, it’s sorta, uhh, more sitting around!
i’m starting to get a little more excited about this upcoming semester at the U of I. you know, this could be a really great thing. i could enjoy it. i could really enjoy college! and i’ll have my own apartment, and be close to my sis… i mean, i guess what i’m saying is that sometimes, you almost forget that things can be really good. i’m not saying they will be, but i’m more hopeful than i would be if i were going to NU in september.

another day in BA. this here site is due for a big content update, not just minor aesthetic tweaks (which i seem to get endlessly caught up in). BA is a good place. it’s pretty relaxing here. the people are good to me, that’s for sure. but you know, sometimes i wonder how much of it’s because i still carry the “new guy” persona around. maybe i’m just being paranoid.
i need to finish up on the Tools 4 Life 2001 video/CDROM by the end of the week. it seems like it should be a simple project, but it always takes a while, you know? i guess it’s always that way with computer stuff.
i’m getting back to champaign on august 4. so i guess i’m gonna live in the basement of Green St. and go to the U of I. i gotta get a job, then! and preferably a non-crappy one. in any event, i’ll have basically NOTHING to do between august 5 and august 22, save the family birthdays. oh well. maybe i should mulch around the house, heh.
