well, i’m back from evanston. it was a good trip. i had a good time. i saw everyone i wanted to see and ate some good food. that’s a pretty good combination, right? i’d say so.
i hung out with myles a good bit and played basketball with him for quite a while on sunday. i was somewhat rusty, especially on ballhandling, but i made some nice shots. it wasn’t an extraordinarily satisfying game, because the people we were playing with weren’t overly fun, but it was good.
i also spent a good chunk of time with emma, who is a very nice and caring person. we went to Omega, a 24-hour diner in Niles, and it was pretty good. too much food, but interesting people and atmosphere. :D
on sunday, i saw courtney at her fantabulous SSVP office. she’s a political heavyweight in ASG ;-) (oxymoronic?). i also went to lunch with julia at le peep and ate like a friggin anti-sweatshop vegan .. tomato & cheese sandwich with fruit on the side. tom, what’s wrong with you?! heh. i played baseball with john at deering field .. just throwing the ball around a bit. my shoulder hurt. i guess i am getting old. :D
soo .. i suppose that about does it for my little jaunt up to evanston. i’m going up again in about three and a half weeks for Dillo Day, where i plan to lose all rational control of myself. :)
you really should look at the pictures from my little trip. i spent a while making it nice. :D
